This tea comes from our favorite Oriental Beauty makers, who were for over 3 generations perfecting skills required for making and proper storage of this demanding tea. We have called it “Old Beauty” to pay respect to the farmers fondly calling it the same way.
Still full of vigor this tea is bursting with notes of honey, herbs and dried wild flowers. It is very sweet, smooth, thick and with nicely structured mouthfeel. In taste there is a touch of cocoa nibs complemented by sweet creamy aroma. Notes of wood, dried fruits and even a little bit of chocolate create tea that is very satisfying, like creamy pudding.
Cha Qi of this tea is very comforting and calming, it clears mind without feeling of too much stimulation.
Great skills of family making and aging this tea shine through every aspect of it. Taste and aroma are so clean and beautifully complex while tea is very comforting and so satisfying.
