This tea is rare example of patient aging. Despite being 30 years old it still keeps so much flavors and aromas that can be found in fresh Dong Ding, yet it’s age is obviously apparent.
Sweet and warming aroma of raisins, cream and caramel have a touch of fresh fruit. Taste is very balanced, on one hand aged notes of sweet cream, honey, aromatic smoke and on the other notes of fruits and even trace of roast. Sweet, smooth and thick liquor have creamy quality to it and lingers in mouth and throat, bringing also touch of cooling sensation.
The way that this tea makes me feel is equally diverse as its taste and aroma, it is energizing and stimulating while deeply calming and soothing.
