We are very thankful that tea made for private consumption of PuErh makers was offered to us. Very fine picking of a bud and a leaf from selected trees.

There was clearly a lot of thought behind making of this tea as it is very subtle and full of charm. Aroma and taste is made mostly of delicate, bright wood with sweet notes of bright fruits and touch of florals. Very clean taste evolves around those notes through the session, dancing between them with grace. Tea starts with moderate but deep sweetness that over time shines through and becomes a star of the session. It is hard to describe complexity of that sweetness, it’s similar to rock sugar that over time becomes cotton candy like and merges with fruity notes seamlessly.

Very subtle tea, to the point of being enigmatic, the more you give your attention to it the more it gives back. It have a lot of retuning sweetness which is suitably delicate but long lasting.

It’s Cha Qi is mildly intoxicating, brings ease and stillness to the mind.

Cake is pressed a tiny bit on firmer side, but with a little bit of care it is easy to remove and separate the whole leaves.
