This tea is made entirely of buds pressed into beautiful PuErh cake. Because of that it starts very thick and then in later infusions tea will have slightly gentler texture. It’s alluring aroma is musky sweet, with notes of honey, wood, nuts and wild flowers. Liquor is very smooth and thick, sweet taste starts with bright wood, honey and nuts and later on transforms towards dried bright fruits like apricots. There is a little bit of walnut skin like bitterness that quickly transforms into sweetness, leaving lingering woody and nutty notes.
It is subtle and intricate tea, gentle on the surface but with inner strength. Also it’s energy is unusual as at first it seems very powerful but then it seems to dissolve throughout the body leaving slightly energized but calm feeling.
Cake was pressed with care and its easy to remove whole bits of it and separate into singe buds.
