BingDao is an old village and its the tribal name is Bien Dao, meaning "village with the bamboo gate", which sounded very much like BingDao to the Chinese and this name have stuck. Bing (冰) means ice, Dao (島) means island. Village is located halfway up very big snow mountain in LinCang called BangMa. BangMa being 3200m at the highest peak places BingDao at approximately 1600m. BingDao PuErh tea comes from Dayeh trees (big leaf cultivar), those are very tall growing anywhere from 4m to 30m.
BingDao PuErh is famous for it’s rock sugar Yun and strong wilderness feeling, it’s taste is bursting with flavors and liquor is smooth, thick, with depth and elegance. Huigan from BingDao is known to be extra long, lasting sweetness coats throat and the sides of the tongue.
