Very unique oolong with extremely high oxidation level (80-90%), placing it strongly in black tea territory. Name comes from the look of liquor, that is orange / red just like a black tea. Other than that it’s very fitting also because of how much of black tea character this oolong have.
Warm, sweet, fruity aroma with notes of peach, dried flowers, herbs and honey is combined with very smooth liquor of moderate sweetness and thickness. That brings out bright fruity notes like white grapes and peaches on aromatic base of wood and herbs with obvious black tea character.
Delicious, unique and interesting tea that will satisfy both oolong and black tea aficionados.
