Bei Dou (北斗) is one of original cultivars found among rock oolong mother bushes in WuYi mountains. Those original bushes were created by nature and all other yancha cultivars come from them. Bei Dou being unmodified, original cultivar, when processed with skill can bring your senses back to the very beginning of yancha creation. There is a lot to like about this tea, complex and rich aromas hide scents of warm cacao, cream right honey, touch of dried goji berries and warm florals. Smooth and thick liquor gives justice to aromas and creamy cacao and dried goji berries notes work well with moderate sweetness bringing out smooth dark chocolate notes. Definitely tea to try for any tea lover, especially if you love yancha.
