We have been privileged by makers of this PuErh by getting 3 tongs of tea they have pressed for their own consumption. It's not only from selected trees but also better picking (1 bud 2 leaves). Nowadays its too expensive to do separate pickings so it's probably only time we will be able to sell this kind of tea.
This Pu-erh tea is made of material from over 300 year old tea trees from Mengla County.
Mengla lies in Xishuangbanna which is arguably the most important prefecture for PuErh. It is home to six famous tea mountains, which includes the greater Yiwu region, most of which falls under Mengla County.
