Interesting thing about good YiWu material is that it tends to age faster than PuErh coming from other regions. It was still surprising to see how nicely that tea have changed over last 7 years. Made of excellent material coming from very old trees, this tea have unmistakable YiWu character.
In aroma and taste dominant notes are sweet, bright, aromatic wood and vanilla. Liquor is silky smooth, thick and sweet. Over session tea develops nutty notes with just a touch of nut skin bitterness, very delicate herbs and florals. Woody notes slightly subside and sweet vanilla becomes more pronounced over the session.
Very delicious and comforting tea, tea energy is as subtle as the rest of its nature and is delicate, calming and comforting.
