Family making all of our Oriental Beauty regularly wins awards for their tea in many categories. For all teas in our offer we go to lengths to ensure that tea is clean, made skillfully in clean environment and of course without use of agrochemicals. Award winning tea adds extra layer to this because it have to be bug bitten to participate in competition, as without it plants won’t produce enzymes that give tea true Oriental Beauty aroma and taste. Extra care goes in producing such tea and even surrounding plants like fruit trees need to be agrochemical free. Jassids are very sensitive and will not bite plants anywhere near pesticides. It is surprising how much modern Oriental Beauty is made of tea leaves that never have seen any bug.
Beautiful leaves of this tea are full of red color and white furry buds. Brewed tea is smooth and medium to thick, aroma is full of bright honey, sweet florals and fruity accents. Taste is very fruity and reminds me of ripe yellow stone fruits, touch of herbs and florals adds to complexity. Liquor is very coating and lingers for long time after drinking tea.
Cha Qi is very mellow and calming, after my tea session I was very relaxed and happy from within.
