2020 Wu Dong Lao Cong Mi Lan Xiang Dancong (烏崬老欉蜜籣香) was made by extremely skilled tea master using material coming from over 50 year old bushes growing in Wu Dong area. Old tea bushes give tea richness and depth of aroma and flavor, also make flavor and aroma to return moment after drinking with more intensity.
Beautiful, very sweet aroma of peach, tropical fruit, longan and touch of wood, floral high notes accompanied by zesty freshness translate beautifully into taste. In first infusions taste may seem at first subdued in comparison to aroma, but returning flavor is so rich and punchy that it’s hard to explain and have to be experienced. Liquor is smooth and quite thick, buttery, bursting with sweet notes of fruit and biscuits.
Amazing tea with very strong returning taste and aroma thank to using old bushes material. Tea energy is invigorating but calm.
Also leaves are very potent and while it may be a matter of personal preference, we highly recommend starting with just about 5g per 100ml.
