Our Baozhong comes from Pinglin, northern Taiwan. From same area as our excellent 2020 Pinglin FuShou Baozhong, made by different Tea Master out of leaves harvested from neighboring tea field.
FuShou (佛手) literally means “Buddha’s Hand”, it is varietal that is very rarely used in this kind of processing.
Those large leaves produce sweet, buttery aromas bursting with vegetal and creamy notes. Smooth liquor is medium thick, with buttery notes bringing out boiled asparagus like vegetables and touch of fruity flavors like slightly underripe apricots. This sweet liquor is very comforting and lingers long in the mouth, bringing some cooling sensation along with aftertaste.
