This tea comes from the same farmer and area as our 2021 NTA 1st Place Prize Winner Dong Ding, made of leaves from tea plants growing in one of the best parts of Alishan mountain range.
Skilful roast and great material have created beautiful tea that shows its different aspects throughout the session. Smooth from very first brew, its thickness builds up very quickly from medium to thick. Toasted rice opens up to creamy caramel like notes with fruity and herbaceous notes shine in different infusions. Tea starts with moderate sweetness that seems to build up and is in latter steeps bringing caramel even more to to front, which works well with incredible smoothness and thickness of liquor.
Thanks to our long lasting relationship with farmer who made this tea, we are able to offer it at great price. Teas winning in competitions have their prices elevated to very steep levels and we have made our best to make it as affordable as possible to everyone.
